It's a data base on Architectural research

The objective of the ARQUITECTONICS network is to facilitate the interrelation between professors, researchers, master's and doctoral students, who study the relationships between Mind, Land and Society in the field of architecture and urban planning.

Direction: 

Senior Professor UPC. Director of the ETSAB, 1980-1984. Director of the Department of Architectural Projects, between 1986-1992, and 1999-2010. Doctor Honoris Causa. University of Lusiada. Lisbon, June 2005. President of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi.

UPC tenured professor. PhD in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, and PhD in History of Architecture from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Author of books and articles on environmental impact assessment.

T E A C H I N G

The intention is to offer an orientation in the investigation of the relations between the urban form and its social use, the construction of a territory and, finally, the projects of the architects. Issues in the process of study and in turn with a lack of understanding. 

R E S E A R C H

Research in the area of ​​architecture, world planning and the systematization of knowledge related to the activities of the architectural project under the direction of the coordination of the GIRAS Research Group.

P U B L I C A T I O N S

The objective is to give access and open the doors to the large number of editions and publications that have been written within the framework of the GIRAS group. Documents that can be obtained for free in PDF format or purchase physical units.
